The Good, The Good & Only The Good

No secret that the woman's wrestling sceen in Japan isn't as good as it was during the glory days of the 80's and 90's. Hell,
it's not even as good as it was 5 or even 2 years ago. AJW is gone, GAEA is gone, there's tons of lazy & selfish vetrans,
poorly trained youngsters, dumb comedy matches, crappy booking and other bs abound. Over the past few years, i've seen many
people who were once huge, diehard fans give up following the current stuff all together but things aren't completely
hopeless and if you know whear to look there still is a lot of good about todays joshi sceen which certainly isn't dead. This
website was created to hopefully re-interest some of the older fans and make a few new ones as well as all i'll be
highlighting here are what I feel are the good aspects of today's joshi business with the focus mainly on but not limited to what's happened in
2006 and beyond.

5/16/2008 - Time sure flies when you're having fun eh. To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of this site i've uploaded the complete debut show (minus the Kaoru vs Yasha Kurenai match which never aired) from one of my alltime favorite promotions, GAEA. Plus updates to the OZ Academy & SENDAI show recomendation pages and profiles section.

4/27/2008 - 4 new matches added to media section. Been really busy with school & other personal stuff so haven't had much time to watch any recent joshi lately or update the site as much as i'd like. Next update should be pretty soon though and much bigger then this one.

3/30/2008 - 3 new matches added to media section. OZ Academy & Other shows pages updated in show recomendations. I've also made a 4 disc set covering the career of Sonoko Kato in OZ Academy since her return in 2006, link to details is above.

3/12/2008 - 7 new matches added to media section. JWP page in show recomendations & Profiles page updated.

2/13/2008 - 5 new matches added to media section. Big update to Sendai page in show recomendations (all shows up to the end of 2007). Updated/New profiles for all the Sendai Girls.

1/12/2008 - Just a tiny update today. 1 new match added to media section. V4 of my Fire Pro Returns edit pack is up.

1/1/2008 - 4 new matches added to media section. NEO page updated in show recomendations. Small update to profiles section. V3 of my Fire Pro Returns edit has been released.

12/14/2007 - 5 new matches added to media section. Other show page updated in show recomendations w stuff from JD & Sun. Minor updates to profiles section. V2 of my Fire Pro save is up for those who haven't been checking the fireprocllub.com forums (was upped thear over a week ago). This is most likely the last update until next year. Sites been up a little over half a year now, hope i've acomplished my goal of making a lot of new fans and re-introducing some older ones. There's a LOT of great stuff out thear, past & present, besides what gets uploaded online so don't be afraid to seek out stuff on your own and buy a DVD or 2.

11/28/2007 - 3 new matches added to media section. Other Show & NEO pages updateded in show recomendations. Added lot of info on Comm versions of NEO's TV shows. For those who have the Fire Pro Wrestling Returns video game and an Action Replay Max device, i've released an edit pack of various joshi wrestler edits i've made. Can download it at the bottom of this page. Not a ton of wrestlers in it yet but i'll be updating it a lot over time.

11/8/2007 - 3 new matches added to media secton. New polls added to bottom of the page. NEO page updated in show recomendations. New wrestler added to profile section + updates to existing ones. For those who don't visit the Death Valley Driver msg board, i'd like to mention that I also post several (non joshi) matches thear as well from time to time.

10/17/2007 - 3 new matches added to media section. New wrestlers added to profiles section, misc updates to existing profiles. NEO (some 2006 shows) & OZ Academy pages updated in show recomendations.

9/25/2007 - 2 new matches added to media section. Decent sized update to OZ Academy section in show recomendations. Like to say thanks to all the people who've been mentioning this site elsewhear, seen the url to this site poping up in some unexspected places lately. Bit sad to see IBUKI isn't doing better in the poll I put up. It's my personal favorite women's promotion in the world today and i'd highly recomend people check it out if they haven't allready.

8/15/2007 - 5 new matches added to media section. OZ Academy & JWP pages updated in show recomendations. 2 new wrestlers added to profile section + updates to several of the allread existing ones.

7/25/2007 - 3 new matches added to the media section. OZ Academy page updated in show recomendations. Ditch did end up losing his hosting so the site was down for a # of days while everything got moved to a new server. Everything should be fine now for the forseeable future.

7/4/2007 - 3 new matches added to media section. NEO & IBUKI pages updated in show recomendations. Haven't had as much time as i'd like to spend on the site lately but I should have another update ready soon. Hopefully Ditch won't lose his hosting any time in the near future but if the site does go down you can check the Death Valley Driver forums for news of when/whear it'll re-appear.
