IBUKI

Started in 2005 by Mariko Yoshida as a training gym for the younger wrestlers from other promotions to come and improve. They began promoting their own shows, once every couple of months and although a few other vetrans also make aperances such as Kaoru Ito & Meiko Satomura (both of which also have their own training gyms), the focus of the promotion has always been to showcase the yonger wrestlers. Some are obviously better then others but the thing makes the promotion stand out and one of my personal favorites is the fact that you can really tell everyone, from top to bottoms is genuinely trying to put on the best match they possibly can.

They've yet to aquire a TV deal but all their shows are taped and released on DVD in edited form, with each disc usually covering 2 shows.

(Even if you've allready got the ARKARENGA festival show I still very highly recomend this DVD for the Yoshida vs Kimura match which is one of the best matches from any promotion, men's or women's in 2006. Overall best DVD IBUKI has put out to this point)
